Ronnie Moore died on August 2, 2013, a long away from the Kolkata he loved so much, at Perth in Western Australia at the age of 93. It's a testament to his fame that police officers who were not even born when he hung up his boots in 1977, trooped down to pay homage to him at the Lalbazar police HQ.
