Pam Crain R.I.P.
Iconic jazz singer and performer Pam Crain, whose voice mesmerised generations of fans in the eastern metropolis, died in Kolkata due to cardiac arrest at the age of 80.

Anglo-Indian Cop Ronnie Moore R.I.P.
Ronnie Moore died on August 2, 2013, a long away from the Kolkata he loved so much, at Perth in Western Australia at the age of 93. It's a testament to his fame that police officers who were not even born when he hung up his boots in 1977, trooped down to pay homage to him at the Lalbazar police HQ. Stories and anecdotes of Ronnie Moore are still alive on the Maidan and the city police ranks. Read more...
